Stylish

These stylesheets are meant to be used with the Firefox extension Stylish. I usually just rip the stylesheet from the site, modify it and fix any errors then run it through CSS Tidy and the W3C CSS Validator. They’re meant for personal use only and I am not responsible for those who rip it off of my site and claim it as their own.

Your Favourite XMB Forum

If the font size is just too small on your favourite XMB forum then this should cheer you up. It’ll up the font size throughout most of the board and it’s compatible with any theme! There aren’t any other style changes to it and the primary purpose of this file was to make RadiantMB’s font size more palatable.

To use it with a forum other than RMB change the URL at the top of the file.

/radiantmb.txt

erin.nu/

Erin’s site is completely illegible and poorly designed. Lulz at her using this stylish stylesheet.

/erin.txt

xobarbie.org

Do not visit this site in IE as you are required to authorize spam popups to navigate the pages. Firefox doesn’t seem to have this problem, only IE. This site doesn’t work at all in any browser other than IE because of the massive amount of HTML in the stylesheet. Unfortunately for us the owner hasn’t graduated beyond using inline frames so you have to apply the stylish stylesheet twice to each frame for it to work:

/xobarbie-main.txt and “/xobarbie-sidebar.txt“http://babblative.com/files/xobarbie-sidebar.txt

You can access the two frames here: main content frame, sidebar.

Mini-Tutorial

Bored with the themes on your favourite forum, but they don’t offer a custom theme option (or one simply isn’t available for the forum software)? Never fear, there is a solution, well at least for Firefox users using Stylish. There is no reason to take the CSS and completely modify it on your own, just use Google to find a free theme, download it (or grab the CSS off the preview) and stick it into Stylish. Voila, instant themes.

Likewise, if you want to change the layout on a Wordpress driven site (that is using the default Wordpress structure) you can grab a Wordpress theme stylesheet and insert it through Stylish. Simple, no? The only thing you should keep in mind is that you should remove the URL to any images on there, it’s impolite to steal bandwidth from other people.
