It's not an objective study, but ever since I got myself to lose weight, I've been healthier. It is indeed ridiculous that they are saying that being fat poses no health problems whatsoever. And the spread of that misinformation should not be tolerated. However, the Scientific-American study about fats and sugar that she cited is correct. A balanced diet that follows the recent Harvard Food Pyramid contains more fats and oils than you'd think - except that most of those fats are plant fats and not the kind of stuff that you'd get from McDonalds. It reminds me of young earth fundamentalists in a way. However, it is important for people to question them when they're spreading such obvious lies. All people deserve their privacy and dignity, but if some one is publicly posting misinformation to make themselves feel better, to be called out is only to be expected. Thank you for taking the time to do just that. You will not move their opinion, but others might read this and add it to how they see FA.
