WPR Drawing on Internet Police Nov 5, 07:32
I came up with a brilliant idea for a contest of sorts for Internet Police, unfortunately Sarai stole it from me (she’s also a compulsive liar, don’t believe anything she says unless it’s flattering to me) so I have to give her the credit.
The concept is simple: Give us the URL to your website and we will randomly pick someone to review. You can find more information and the guidelines on the actual post: WPR Drawing.
Before you get your panties in a knot I’d like to clarify that this isn’t going to get you IP’d. This is an offer for a legitimate review of your website, requested even! Oh and unless you look like sasquatch and enjoy posting pictures, I’m not likely to sit there for 10 minutes lulzing at you.
The idea was born of frustration, frustration over the fact that we’ve yet to find a WPR that offers quality reviews worth reading. We may not be the best, but we at least try to be entertaining which is more than I can say for most people reviewing (FYI: 3 paragraphs is not enough for a review, unless you’re reviewing my site in which case it can be summed up in one word: “awesome”) websites today. The rules are few and far between. We really only ask that you have some content, an original layout and no piczo sites please.
So, um, yeah enter the contest and we’ll tell you how to run your website, for free. Great deal, eh?
