Is blogging a full-time job? No the question I want to ask is actually: Is PPP blogging a full-time job? I’ve heard murmurings from more than one person that it actually is, I’m a little skeptical about that because I don’t see how writing out a paragraph or two and “cleverly” inserting links here and there to pimp your product. So I thought I’d do a little experiment: take on PPP posting and see if it does become a full time job… but no I promised never to whore myself or my site out like that because quite frankly I’m better than that. So I decided to PPP for free and do “unsponsered” posts advertising various things that I use.

This brain fart flash couldn’t have come at a better time because I’m in the process of converting my bookmarks over to del.icio.us so I’m discovering all kinds of things I’d forgotten about. Ignore the mess, it’s a work in progress, I have about 1000 more bookmarks to go and then I’m going to go back and reorganize everything again.

So how many posts should I do a day? 2? 3? I can probably manage 1-2, perhaps 3+ but the opportunity to get on the computer doesn’t come that often when it’s not my time slot and if it’s a choice between slacking off to do things with other people vs. blogging of course I’m going to choose slacking off! I’m really quite curious to see how hard it is to “PPP” your blog and whether it’s a full time job or not, I’ve done a blogathon before but that was only 1 post per day (and I only missed 2 days total). I’m confident I can manage 1 or two more posts a day with minimal effort.
