  1. Sid is back! Ice Age 3 is coming next summer.
  2. Has anyone else noticed sites putting notices up informing visitors that if they lurk they’ll be banned? I’ve found two sites that say they’ll ban you for lurking: boytrap.net “Lurking? BAN BAN BAN!!!” and colormefresh.com “Also, lurking will get you banned.” Being the little devil that I am I started lurking on boytrap.net yesterday (I even randomly clicked around) and I’m still not banned. Fail.
  3. House is coming back on the 28th of April. Holler. Unfortunately Bones won’t be back for another month.

  7. I’m an idiot for deleting my old Firefox profile before importing my bookmarks into my new one. My last backup was sometime in October, 2007.
  8. emelody’s patterns are awesome. Weird and I’m not sure where I’d use them, but awesome. Especially Pop Photoshop Patterns.

Banned for lurking? Never heard of such a thing :P Geez then I should be banned at thousands of websites :P

Erm, how exactly does one get banned for lurking. Surely the very definition of lurking means that you’re not announcing your presence and therefore it would be impossible for the webmaster to know who to ban? o.O

I really don’t think that you should be stalking Kim in the 1st place. She screenshot your I.P all over her stats. You’re lurking heavy. Then you have the nerve to quote something from her blog and not quote the whole thing.

We’re on season 4 at the moment, but according to the Fox site they’re coming back on the 21st and not the 28nd. Yay!

Stat trackers! boytrap.net, which seems to have disappeared off the face of the internet, said that she keeps a very close eye on her stats and will ban anyone who just lurks (I guess that means doesn’t register and comment lots). She doesn’t have to know who you are, just that you aren’t registering and commenting.

I’d like to see these screenshots because I really doubt they exist. I visited her site once or twice a day to see if I’d been banned yet (and if she has my IP “lurking heavy” in her stats then why aren’t I banned?) and shock, gasp, horror I haven’t. Also “she screenshot your IP”…? Lovely English you have there.

this post was pointless. if that girl wants to say something on her site and then not follow through, so what! if you really look at it, you’re making yourself look like a idiot because you’re documenting yourself stalking people online. i went to boytrap and it was gone and you managed to find her again. you need a coloring book to keep your ass busy, bored bitch.

Actually, if she weren’t clicking my links in her stat tracker I never would have found her new site. It just showed up in my referrers ;) I’m simply pointing out the idiocy behind threatening to ban people because they don’t comment on your site.

She finally banned me too. Luckily if I ever actually want to read her site again (not likely, but let’s just say I might for the hell of it) I can use a web proxy or reset my modem. IP bans are stupid.

I think she means that she believes her content is so good that people will share their account details (because most of her blogs are for registered users only) with everyone else. I somehow doubt it, but hey she bans people for lurking, can’t expect much from her.
