Rachael Ray
I admit it, I’m a Rachael Ray fan and not really proud of it, ashamed more like. But somehow I can’t tear my eyes away from her show, on the Food Network, called 30 Minute Meals.
If you’ve never seen it, well you’re in for a treat because it’s the crappiest half-hour of television that you’ll ever see, but it’s damn fun to watch. In between her constant mutterings about garbage bowls and EVOO you’ll be entertained by the rings on her fingers, her not washing her hands after handling raw meat and even the food (which looks disgusting).
Like a lot of people I admit I can’t cook, but at least I’m not on television peddling unhealthy crap to the people who subscribe to cable television, right?
I’m reminded of a show of hers that I watched. She was talking about her dog Boo and making Boo Burgers (say that out loud, if you’re a dirty person you might find that funny) and some kind of Mac’n‘Cheese that looked really unappetizing.
When she first dumped the pasta into the water she made a big deal about how the pasta was that curly corkscrew pasta (she even called it by the Italian name because she’s half Italian, wow). When she drained the pasta it made a distinct sound in the colander, not unlike uncooked pasta. When she finally plated the Mac’N‘Cheese the noodles were not the ones that she used originally. Nope, they were macaroni noodles (the ones that are half-circles). Oh hey, what happened to the corkscrews?
Call me jealous all you want, but if you screw up like that on a television show that is pre-taped, then should you really have a cooking show? Honestly, the pasta didn’t sound like it was cooked through and then it changed shape. Methinks I smell a rat in here by the name of Raytard.

I love Rachael Ray, I think she’s awesome haha. I love 30 minute meals, usually the food looks amazing and I’ve seen her wash her hands before but yeah I think I saw one once where she didn’t but they may have had a cut scene .. maybe. I like her talk show too, where she talks about “real issues” and then celebs come on and they cook with her. I think she has a nice personality and considering how much money she is rolling with being on/having about err 4-5 shows now I think it’s great that she still acts the same and doesn’t flaunt her money or anything.

I think she’s highly obnoxious. I cannot stand her voice, but for some reason I turn on her show if there is nothing else on.
I don’t think she understands that her voice is loud enough without the yelling, but she needs to get it soon.
For some reason, Oprah sponsored her new talk show. Why? I will never know.
Hopefully they’ll both be gone soon.
