New Site: The Shape of Reason

Alex and I get our kicks from the Fat Acceptance Movement, they are to us what bad websites are to Sarai and me (or like chocolate and cherries, if you’d rather have a more delicious analogy). There aren’t many anti-FAM blogs out there, The Unfatblog is one of the best, most regularly updated ones (and by regularly updated I, of course, mean not really updated anymore at all). Sick and tired of the pseudoscience offered up by FAM activists we decided to open up our own slice of anti-FAM heaven.

Be warned though, if you’re looking for anti-fat sentiments then you’ll have to go elsewhere. Our problem does not lie with fat people, but rather with the crazy right-wing fringe that has shockingly enough become mainstream. We’re against things like “genetic set-points” and “intuitive eating” not to mention “real women” and the hypocritical bias (and sometimes downright stupid logic) of FAM activists.

Haha I now have a new favorite website. That’s definitely getting as one of my menu bar links.

I am confused by the phrase though “Alex get our kicks from the Fat Acceptance Movement”. Are you making a direct shoutout to her? lmao
