Who is the dumbest? God that’d have to be a three way tie between Jenn (Don’t like someone? Delete their comments!), Erin (Girl at the freak show) and Janet (clickyplz). And I mean that’s just the top 3 of a very long, long, long list of people Sarai and I have to do for Internet Police.

Katlyn – When I first started a website, I only made celebrity layouts. Recently, I’ve veered off that track and started making simple layouts with a header image such as a waterfall, or something like that. And then I just make the simple and plain layouts. Um — my point is, well, all the actual blog sites I see have these professional types of layouts like you have. Exactly why do you think that is?

Probably because simple and clean layouts like this are easier on the eyes than a celebrity layout. Also there’s the issue of copyright infringment and quite frankly I don’t want to get my butt sued so I stay away from most copyrighted images (the only exception being my lovely avatar).

Spiddi – I know this question is a bit off-subject, but,

what text editor do you use?

I’m always having difficulties with BOM (bite order mark) whenever I save in UTF-8, creating an error when I validate my site. I use BabelPad, which enables me to check/uncheck whether or not I want the BOM. However, I’ve only started using this recently, and it’s very annoying (you have to say you don’t want the BOM included /whenever/ you save a file).

So yeah. Just curious. :)

I use Notepad++ for absolutely everything. Is it bad that I don’t know exactly what a BOM is?
