Knitted Bookmarks Apr 28, 14:42

I’ve gone on a little bookmark making spree, they’re so quick and easy I’ve already got three and another one half-finished. The pattern is so easy and quite pretty, I have a feeling I’m going to be making a scarf from this stitch! I’m going to reblock the purple one and possibly the blue one, I really do prefer the thinner yellow one (although I’m not crazy about the colour). Size 10 seems about perfect for this pattern (for that nice lacy feel). Anyone who wants to try their hand at lace knitting should try this, 11 stitches, 2 increases/decreases and the rest is just knit and purl. I can make one bookmark in about 20 minutes so it’s a really quick project (perfect for the doctors office, ugh I have to go see mine about renewing a prescription soon. Ugh).
Pattern: Gull Wings Bookmark
Needle Size: 3.0mm
Crochet Cotton: The yellow is unknown, but the pink, purple and blue are Clarks Anchor Pearl Cotton (5). I don’t believe they make it anymore, the closest thing I could find are the threads on this page: C&C Size 5 Crochet Threads
On another note, is anyone willing to buy me this and a house with high ceilings to go with it? I want to cram it into my short, by comparison, bedroom but I don’t think it’d fit. Great Idea for a House with High Ceilings as of right now my books reside on the floor, on my bed, around my bed and they’re crammed onto every other available surface. I’d love to have wall-to-wall bookshelves, but realisticely that ain’t gonna happen, this is perfect and it has that nice industrial feel. I still dream of buying a mansion with Brent and investing in a nice rolly ladder for our library. Actually, I’d rather have the rolly ladder than the loft library, but if I can’t have the rolly ladder I’ll settle for the loft library.
So who’s buying it for me?
