Junk Cars and Trailers

I’m reminded of a conversation that took place with my brother over two years ago. He was sleepwalking, he doesn’t remember it and I’ve been making fun of him for it since.

The back story: I went down to go on my computer and found my brother on it. I asked him to get up and he refused so I asked my mother to remove him from the computer.

Apparently he thought he’d slept for 24 hours and that I’d been on the computer since he’d gone to sleep. He came into the kitchen and this is the conversation we had:

This is a true story

Justin: Exactly where do you think you’re going to keep your junk cars Becky?
Me: Junk cars…?
Justin: The ones you’re going to move into.
Me: I’m moving into junk cars?
Justin: Well you aren’t living here any more.
Me: Since when?
Justin: I don’t know. Don’t think you can keep them in the front yard. Can’t keep them in the back ether.
Me: Okay.
Justin: Are you going to move into that trailer?
Me: Uh.. no.
Justin: Well where are you going to keep your stuff? Not in my room… But you can keep it Mom’s room.
Me: What’s wrong with my room?
Justin: You’re moving out!
Me: [I gave him the “you’re a retard” look]
Justin: Don’t look at me like I’m a retard!
Me: Justin maybe you’d better go to bed.
Justin: No I want to go on the computer. What about that addition that Dad’s building for you?
Me:What about it (I’m not entirely sure what he was talking about).
Justin: It’s being built… You’re moving in.
Me: I thought I was moving into three junk cars.
Justin: With no doors or windows.
Me:Sweet!

You can talk to sleepwalking people?! And they can hear you? Now that really weirds me out :S

Haha, that sounds hilarious. I remember a friend of mine sleepwalking once in fourth grade at a “sleepover” party… she walked all around the house and seemed to think she was talking to her mother. She can’t remember it and people STILL talk about it, haha.
