Do's and Don'ts of Text Size and Colour
Do’s and Don’ts of Text Size and Colour Do’s and Don’t‘s of Text Size and Colour, is a collection of boxes that contain different font sizes, colours and families in the hopes of showing people that larger font sizes and good contrast can look good.
I know that Juicy Studio’s Colour Contrast Analyzer does a wonderful job of helping people with colour contrast, but no one seems to want to use it. Why? I don’t know, I’m assuming dinkiness.
If you have an idea for a site that should be added then by all means email me and tell me about it.
That’s a great Do’s and Don’ts of Text Size and Colour page, really shows the effect you’re going for. And about the example where you said you actually ripped it off from somebody’s site, I’m sure most of us know what that site is ;) Makes me wonder if she looks at her site through a magnifying glass. Anyway, great page.
Lol nice page, but I know what to use and what not and all that. I’m on a 1280×1024 resolution myself. Opera is set to have minimum font-size of 9px, which personally I would only use for something like dates/times and such. Not as my main text lol. And I rather have the ‘grayish’ on black instead of white on black yea. Or just black on white like I currently have. I always make sure to make it easy to read on the eyes lol, we’ve got about 4 computers here and a laptop so I mostly check my site on 3 different ones. I like the colors you’re having here now btw ^^ It’s soothing.

Haha, I enjoyed your Do’s and Don’ts page. The sad thing is, it would seem obvious that some of those are painful, if not impossible, to read on a normal resolution, but so many people make even worse mistakes. MySpace. Ahhh! I can’t stand it… the kids either write in negative 297498274 size font, or they write in enormous font with colours so bright you need sunglasses just to look at it. It’s ridiculous.
