CSS Naked Day

What happened to the design?

To know more about why styles are disabled on this website visit the

Annual CSS Naked Day
website for more information.

For the next two days babblative will be nude, I’ll be back with a brand spankin’ new look. Until then enjoy the semantic(ish) look of my website without styles.

Is it already April 5th where you are, or are you just starting early?

It’s kind of weird going to everyone’s site and seeing them participating in CSS Naked Day. Though the best part is going to site’s that didn’t even have semantic/xhtml/valid coding prior to being naked.

Poo to the people that just did it because of everyone else doing it.

I signed up a few days ago to this. I completely forgot about it – I was lazy and downloaded the lovely 48 hour plugin instead.

I didn’t do it last year – mainly because I was too nervous – but this year I’m taking it as my opportunity to create a new theme.

Did you try clearing your cache and refreshing? Sometimes that happens to me, I’m not sure why though.

And I agree, those who shouldn’t have stripped are fun to laugh at :D

Dorie, I started early because I wasn’t able to disable styles at the stroke of midnight.

I can’t wait to see the new design, the old one was seriously starting to bug me XD

Becky, there’s an option in Textpattern under Preferences (click “Advanced”) called “New comment means site updated?”. If you set that to “Yes,” you shouldn’t have any more problems with comments not showing up without refreshing. =)

I have that set to no so that it doesn’t make the site look updated when people check their feeds. Damn :(

Oh, but you don’t have the comment count on in your feed, right? So does that really matter? o____o; (I don’t know everything about how feeds work, so I’m just asking since you seem to know more about this than I do.)
